History of the Fiesta 1983 to 1989
Mk2 Fiesta RS Kit
Similarly to the Mk1 RS kit, this was another Ford option. It consisted of front and rear valance and side skirts. Also included was a upper and lower bootlid mounted spoiler. The kit gave the car a far more aggressive appearance than the XR kit, with it's low cut front valance. Because of its flat edges on the underneath of the valances it gives far more scope for the addition of front and rear splitters than the XR kit. Ford also supplied RS 7 spoke wheels for fitment with this kit too, although this time they were available in 6x15, Ford did not encourage the fitment of wheels larger than this to the Mk2 Fiesta.
