Marty says about his car:

I built the car when unleaded took over from 4star, so I never modded the engine. I kept the engine as standard because I kept blowing them (I found it cheaper to replace an engine every 6 months, rather than convert them or run them on leaded).

The car was a Mk1 1980 Fiesta 1.1L. Lovely little car, but was boring, so I chopped the back off and converted it into a pickup. This was to be my first modified car.

The interior was standard Fiesta gear, although the stereo had to go. I implanted a Goodmans 10 CD shuffler and head unit, running two 6x9's and two 12" subs, through a 300 Watt Legacy amp.

The car/van/thing was then painted in Canary yellow, which seemed to go a bit green (Actually made it look better hehe) I tinted the windows Limo style, although that was after the pictures were done. Unfortunately, the pictures here are of the car when it was 75% complete. I sold the car many years ago due to financial strains and have heard that it has been scrapped (very upsetting).

I'm now looking for another Mk1 for another project I'm thinking of doing, if anyone would like to donate one, I'll make em proud!
